AEG History
AEG was established in Berlin during 1883, AEG soon grew to be a major electrical motor manufacturer.
The first AEG factory produced lamps, which meant AEG competed against US giant General Electric.
The demands of competing against General Electric that pushed AEG to develop in other sectors such as small and, later, large electric motors.
This skill with eletric motors helped AEG play to it's new strenghts as they are found within many domestic appliances most notably Washing machines and other such white goods.
AEG were soon producing a great range of white goods.
